RFWA launches a website for a network of voice hearers

IMG_3551The launch was held at Technology Park in Bentley on Tuesday 25 August. Attending the launch Dr Graham Jacobs, Minister for Mental Health, and senior managers and representatives of governmental departments and non-governmental organisations.

The website located at www.hvna.net.au, was designed in Perth with the support of the Mental Health Council of Australia, Virtual Synchronicity, Lotterywest and RFWA staff including Marlene Janssen, coordinator of HVNA. The website contains information such as about Hearing Voices Groups, how to form one, and how to find support around Australia and overseas. It also provides information in forms of booklets, pamphlets, DVDs and posters. Through this website, RFWA and HVNA hope to also form partnerships and mentoring relationships with voice hearers, mental health professionals and agencies.
