Personal Helpers and Mentors (PHaMs)

Personal Helpers and Mentors Program, otherwise referred to as PHaMs, assists people aged 16yrs+, whose ability to manage their daily activities and live independently in the community is severely impacted as a result of a severe mental illness.

You don’t need to have a formalised clinical diagnosis of a severe mental illness to initially access the program.  You can find out if you qualify by visiting the PHaMs Frequently Asked Questions.

Recovery staff work with you on an individualised Recovery journey - building long-term relationships and providing holistic support.

They ensure that services accessed by program participants are coordinated, integrated and complementary to the services in the community.
