1) Personal Care Assistants - Bunbury, Kelmscott and Subiaco

Due to recent growth and expansion, RFWA has opportunities for dedicated Personal Care Assistants to join their enthusiastic teams at Bunbury, Kelmscott and Subiaco.

RFWA is looking for empathetic and enthusiastic candidates who appreciate the nature of mental illness and can provide appropriate responses to people's needs. You will need to be able to develop ongoing supportive relationships with clients, and have a demonstrated ability to work in a creative and sensitive manner

 

Duties:

 

Ø      Assist consumers in maintaining their property in a clean and hygienic condition, through positive encouragement and guidance.

 

Ø      Work with consumers to enable them to develop the day-to-day skills they will need in order to continue their recovery journey.

 

Requirements:

 

  1. Minimum essential requirement: substantial demonstrated experience in relevant work environments.
  2. Current Police Clearance Certificate.
  3. Current Senior First Aid Certificate.
  4. Current Driver’s licence.

2) Team Leader, Recovery First Program - Cannington-based

 

Under the supervision of the Program Manager, a Team Leader will manage staff in a five person team, deliver some direct services and ensure the delivery of services to people identified as being eligible. You will ensure that clients are assisted in their goals towards independent living through implementation of an appropriate recovery program. You will also manage the assessment of client progress and the appropriate keeping of associated records.

 

Other duties will include:

  1. Coordinating services in a professional manner.
  2. Ensuring that all human resource protocols are completed.
  3. Monitoring the performance of staff.
  4. Monitoring and reporting to the Program Manager regarding the progress of the program
  5. Other duties as directed by the Program manager

 

Requirements:

  1. Minimum educational qualification requirements:
    1. relevant qualifications at Certificate IV level, or,
    2. a relevant 3-year university qualification.
  2. Minimum essential requirement: substantial demonstrated experience in relevant work environments.
  3. Current Police Clearance Certificate.
  4. Current Senior First Aid Certificate.
  5. Current Driver’s licence.

3) Casual Relief Recovery Workers and Recovery Support Workers - various sites

 

Under the supervision of the Site Coordinator, as a Relief employee you will be called upon to cover in the absence of either a Recovery Worker or Recovery Support Worker to enable the process of recovery in individuals who experience mental distress with the aim of living a full and satisfying life.
